Terms and Conditions
We’re pleased to see you are interested in entering the Digital Velocity Awards 2018. Before you do, we would like to advise that you read through our terms and conditions to make sure you are happy with the process.
The Digital Velocity Awards are owned and produced by Tealium. On submission of an Award Entry, please understand that you will be bound by and your entry considered in accordance the following terms and conditions. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. This webpage will be updated to reflect any changes made.
Definition of frequently used terms throughout the Awards Entry process:
- Category – each particular award group as listed and detailed on the website.
- Closing Date – the last date to submit an entry for the Digital Velocity Awards, as made public on the Digital Velocity website.
- Entry – your submission for an award category.
- Judging Criteria – the benchmarks and measures that the judges will use to review and mark your entry.
Awards Entry Formalities
All Award Entries must be submitted (in English please) by completing and submitting an entry form unless an alternative agreement is made prior to submission. The Award Entry must also be accompanied by the appropriate contact details. Please note that by submitting an Entry you are confirming that you and all associated parties accept the terms and conditions of the Digital Velocity Awards.
Each Award Entry must be completed in full and received by Tealium on or before the Closing Date. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered.
Entries will be disqualified if they are inaccurate, incomplete or deemed, at our discretion, ineligible for any other reason.
Number of Entries
- You may submit an entry for all of the Digital Velocity Awards categories.
- Each category entered requires a separate entry.
- You may make unlimited Entries in any given Category.
All entries shall be reviewed by an independent judging panel, as listed on the Digital Velocity website. The entry will be reviewed and marked against the judging criteria for the category entered. Further information to support the entry may be requested at the time of judging and the named person will be contacted. Failure to supply the requested information will result in the entry being disqualified.
The shortlist and winners from each category will be announced by Tealium and DataIQ at the Digital Velocity Awards Dinner. Details of which can be found on the Digital Velocity London website or by contacting Charlotte.Morgan@tealium.com.
The judges’ decision is final and Tealium will not enter into any correspondence or discussion with any entrants on any subject nor will Tealium accept any submissions or representations or appeals with regard to such decisions. Tealium reserves the right to disqualify entries that are deemed failing to comply with the terms and conditions of entry.
Your entry and supporting documentation is deemed as confidential. Only by mutual agreement by the entrant organisation and Tealium will any information contained in the entry be used for publicity purposes.
Limitations & Disclaimer
Tealium accepts no responsibility, financial or otherwise, for:
- Any promise or indication made public before an Award is formally announced
- Any damage whatsoever caused by any actions taken by Tealium in relation to any given entry
In no event shall Tealium be liable whether in contract, tort, by statute or otherwise in respect of any loss of profits and/or loss of business for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Digital Velocity Awards, including without limitation: loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business and/or goods, loss of goodwill, loss of use, loss and/or corruption of data and/or other information.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or restrict our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation and/or for death or personal injury to the extent that such injury results from our negligence or wilful default.
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants agree and accept that they will be solely responsible and liable for any and all damage caused by their entry.
These terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with and governed by English law.
